Elise
Bikker
Dutch
artist Elise Bikker studied History of Art at Leiden University in
the Netherlands and took several courses in sculpting, drawing,
painting and jewellery making in Rotterdam and Schoonhoven. In
October 2012 she moved into Rogues Atelier in York where she focuses
on painting and making decorative stained glass panels and objects.
Her work is inspired by the “primitive” shapes and colors of
Klee, Kandinsky and Mirรณ
as well as organic shapes found in nature. Her studio space enables
her to further develop her art and to teach painting lessons to
individuals or small groups.
